Brown sugar is better than white sugar

You might not want to hear this, but sugar is sugar, no matter the color, and too much sugar is too much regardless of the source. It’s true that brown sugar has fewer calories than white sugar but it also has “an identical glycemic index to white sugar, meaning that they have the exact same potential to do harm to your metabolism,” according to Dr. Vojdani.
