Experiencing These Post-Vaccine Symptoms? Don’t Get 2nd Dose, CDC Warns
It’s pretty much clear that most vaccines come with their fair share of side effects, and the COVID-19 vaccine is no exception. As explained by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), most side effects are normal and indicate that your body is learning how to protect against the virus.
Although rare, the CDC is also warning about possible allergic reactions to the coronavirus vaccines, which should be taken as seriously as possible. According to Javeed Siddiqui, MD, the chief medical officer at TeleMed2U, patients with a history of allergic reactions to prior vaccines or injected therapy should try to figure out if “symptoms and timing of their reaction [is] consistent with a true allergic reaction.” Evidently, the best course of action is to see your doctor.
