Experiencing These Post-Vaccine Symptoms? Don’t Get 2nd Dose, CDC Warns
Severe allergic reactions could target parts of your body
The CDC explains that, although rare, the COVID-19 vaccines could cause severe, life-threatening allergic reactions, called anaphylaxis in medical terms. Such a severe reaction could affect several parts of your body and four main systems: respiratory, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, and mucosal.
Among the respiratory side effects one might experience after getting a vaccine, the CDC mentions coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, tightness in the throat and high-pitched, whistling sound while breathing.
