Don’t take any OTC medicine after vaccine without your doctor’s approval
As explained by the CDC, it’s quite normal to experience certain side effects after getting a vaccine, including a COVID vaccine. Among the most common side effects caused by the coronavirus vaccine, the CDC lists headaches, muscle aches, fever, chills and pain, which might prompt many of us to alleviate them with pain relievers.
But before you reach for your Advil tablets, you should know that the CDC issued a warning concerning over-the-counter medicine, such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen, aspirin, or antihistamines” after the vaccine.
