Don’t Take These Meds Before or After Your COVID Vaccine, CDC Warns

According to William Schaffner, MD, an infectious disease specialist and professor at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, some studies regarding regular vaccines in children have shown that the use of ibuprofen or acetaminophen before a vaccine (not a COVID vaccine) might lower your antibody response.
But more research on this subject is required as it has not been widely researched on a clinical scale. Still, until more data is collected, it’s best to stick to CDC guidelines and recommendations and avoid OTC meds before COVID vaccines.
