10 Public Places You Should Still Avoid This Spring, Dr. Fauci Says
Avoid indoor spaces
According to Dr. Fauci, ‘outdoor is always better than indoor if you want to do any kind of a function.’
Now there are two scenarios:
- If you’re vaccinated, you can start attending indoor meetings and events only if the other group members also received both doses of the vaccine;
- If you’re not vaccinated, experts recommend you to politely decline attending any indoor events regardless of their nature. The CDC says that spending time with other people in indoor, poorly ventilated spaces, is the riskiest type of activity COVID-wise. Furthermore, even if you’re attending outdoor events, you should still wear a mask and maintain the recommended safe distance of six feet or more.
