10 Public Places You Should Still Avoid This Spring, Dr. Fauci Says
Don’t travel
If you’ve traveled during the past year and didn’t contact COVID-19, it doesn’t necessarily mean that traveling is safe – but rather that you’ve been very lucky.
Dr. Anthony Fauci even goes one step further to point out that traveling isn’t safe even for those who have already received the COVID-19 vaccine. Here’s his message:
‘It is not a good idea to travel, period,” even if you’ve been vaccinated. If you absolutely have to travel and it’s essential, then obviously one would have to do that, but we don’t want people to think because they got vaccinated then other public health recommendations just don’t apply.’
Therefore, if you truly must travel, you should take all precaution measures recommended by public health authorities.
