As a parent myself, I know that last year has probably felt like a lifetime; I also know how much it hurts to deprive your children from the joy of playing outside with their friends.
But I’m also here to tell you it’s still not time to let them go to playgrounds if they’re crowded.
Although children might not experience severe COVID-19 complications, you still don’t want to risk it just for half an hour of playtime when they can contact the virus. It’s equally important to note that children (especially small ones) often forget about safety rules and might easily transmit the virus even when they’re outdoors.
