After receiving the second dose in January, Dr. Fauci revealed that he had experienced fatigue and was actually “knocked out” for about 24 hours. He also said he was “a little achy” and “chilly,” but not feeling sick from the vaccine.

As your immune system is trying to get used to the vaccine, you might experience chills; however, these can also be caused by the fever, but doctors say it’s nothing to worry about. If not, it shows that your immune system is doing its job properly.
