Do I Have to Wear a Mask After Getting a COVID-19 Vaccine?

A third reason why we should not abandon health measures such as wearing a mask, thoroughly washing our hands and social distancing (especially around the holidays) is that experts estimate that the vaccine will be widely available sometime in April 2021. This means that most Americans will not have access to the vaccine and get the much-coveted protection against COVID-19 until then. More than that, there is still no COVID-19 vaccine specifically created for children. Moderna announced they are planning trials involving children ages 12 through 17, but until a safe vaccine is developed and children are also vaccinated, we can’t defeat the pandemic completely.
