This Dental Health Essential Kit Can Make You Smile More

Dental Health Kit – If there’s one physical pain in this lifetime that seems unbearable, it must be tooth ache. If you’ve ever experienced it, you know what I’m talking about; and you also know that prevention is ten times easier than any treatment.

Luckily, maintaining your dental health is now easier than ever. I created this essential kit you can use daily; each product is available, affordable and easy to use. All you need to come up with is persistence to turn using the items below into a healthy habit. I know you can do it and I know you deserve it, so let’s start today!

Your Essential Dental Health Kit

  1. Pre-loaded toothbrush
Had I only known about this one earlier… Pre-loaded toothbrushes are, in my opinion, a revolutionary product. This disposable toothbrush comes with a built-in bead which dissolves while brushing your teeth and acts as a toothpaste. It can be used anywhere, doesn’t require rinsing, it’s sugar-free, soft and has the perfect size to fit any purse. This one was a real game changer for me on the go!
  2. Fluoridated toothpaste
Brushing your teeth daily using a fluoridated toothpaste is literally essential to avoid tooth decay. In fact, even the CDC recommends it! Fluoride is renowned for fighting germs while creating a protective barrier for your teeth. If you consider using mouthwash, make sure the water is also fluoridated to increase its benefits (here’s a good example).
  3. Dental floss
Some don’t like it, some don’t think it’s necessary and some don’t even know how flossing works. Jonathan Schwartz, DDS, explains the truth: “Flossing is not just for getting those little pieces of Chinese food or broccoli that may be getting stuck in between your teeth. It’s really a way to stimulate the gums, reduce plaque, and help lower inflammation in the area.” Using dental floss just once a day can make a huge difference!
  4. Sugarless gum
If your parents told you that chewing gum was bad, they were right. However, science progressed since and now some gums can actually help you maintain your dental health! Research published in the Journal of American Dental Association proves that chewing gum with xylitol (a sugar substitute) can significantly reduce bacteria which cause tooth decay. Just make sure to avoid fruit-flavored products: studies confirmed that this type of gum can damage enamel and lead to tooth erosion. This is a great option
