Unfortunately, blood clots are becoming more and more of a serious problem in COVID-19 patients. Unlike other symptoms on our list, this one can be fatal unless it’s diagnosed and treated on time, since blood clots can cause heart attack or severe lung damage.
Whenever a blood clot appears, you may experience redness, pain and swelling in a specific area where it’s located. If any of these symptoms is accompanied by dizziness, unexplained numbness or in your extremities, there might be a problematic blood clot which prevents proper blood circulation.
ATTENTION! If you experience any of the signs listed above, make sure to call 911 immediately or go straight tot he Emergency Room if there is one in your proximity. This is a serious problem that requires immediate medical attention.
