What if I’ve already had COVID-19?
Firstly, if you’ve been diagnosed with COVID-19, I hope it’s been an easy journey and you’re all good now.
To answer the question, yes, everybody should get vaccinated whether they’ve had COVID-19 in the past or not. Why?
Well, we know that our immune system produces antibodies on its own after catching the SARS-CoV-2 virus. However, we still don’t know how long this immunity lasts or just how effective it is.
Getting vaccinated gives you the certainty that you won’t get any complications if you get infected. It also decreases the likelihood that you’ll get the virus again in the near future, which are both important reasons to get the shot!
