As if this isn’t enough, researchers claim obesity also makes you more vulnerable and increases your chances of SARS-Cov-2 infection in the first place.
According to British scientists, being overweight increases your chances of contracting the virus by 31 percent, being obese increase your risk by 55 percent while severe obesity makes you 57 percent more likely to become infected.
