Blood Clots After COVID Vaccine? This Is Who Is More Likely To Get Them

In the United States, approximately seven million people have been vaccinated with the J&J jab of which 6 developed blood clots, while in Europe, about 34 million have received the Astra Zeneca vaccine, of which 169 had this rare reaction.
Johnson & Johnson officials claimed they have information about the “extremely rare disorder involving people with blood clots in combination with low platelets in a small number of individuals” who got their J&J vaccines.
The EMA also said that “the reported combination of blood clots and low blood platelets is very rare, and the overall benefits of the vaccine in preventing COVID-19 outweigh the risks of side effects”.
