  • Take a hike – Connecting with nature is one of the best detoxes you can do on the weekend. According to “Montem Hiking Blog”, hiking improves brain health. It’s easy to do, it’s affordable, it’s the best way to exercise and escape your tiring daily routine. It helps you build resilience and self-confidence, and it relieves tension!
  • Eat well – When you’re extremely hungry and in a hurry, you rarely remind yourself to eat healthily. But if you want to prioritize it, there’s something you can try. Meal preparation is one of those things you can do to make sure you’re eating healthy. There are lots of ideas online, specially made for busy people like you.
  • Watch your caffeine intake – We know you love your coffee(s), but it might be a contributing factor to your stressful days. As “Very Well Mind” reports, “if you ingest high levels of caffeine, you may feel your mood changing, leaving you craving more caffeine, causing you to lose sleep, suffer health consequences, and feel more stressed.”
  • Laugh more – Remember when our grandmothers used to tell us that laughter is good medicine? Well, it helps to moderate stress, boosts your immune system, relieves pain (because laughter helps your body produce its own natural painkillers), increases personal satisfaction and improves your mood.
  • Meditate – Meditation helps stress relief. In one study published in “Harvard Health Publishing”, it has been found that a mindfulness-based stress reduction program helped relieve anxiety symptoms in people with chronic anxiety.
  • Spend time with family or a friend – By getting together with your family or someone close to you and spending quality time, you receive a cushion to everyday stress and allows you to release tension.
  • Simplify your life – There are certain times when we feel like it’s simply too much. You might be tricked to believe that you are responsible for everything, but you’re not. When you’re under so much stress, you might be tricked to believe many things. But it’s important to stay rational and realize that it’s just a phase and everything will eventually get better.
