Whether smokers agree or not, nicotine is addictive. Plenty of studies demonstrated that nicotine is a predominant ingredient in cigarettes which causes the urge to smoke.

If you have a cigar first thing in the morning or smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day and decide to quit, expect some serious withdrawal symptoms. These may start within a few hours of your last cigarette and may include irritability, lack of concentration, headaches, and fatigue.
