3. Peel some potatoes

Who doesn’t love potatoes? They are maybe the most versatile food that exists. Baked, mashed, fried, in a salad, you can enjoy them in every form. And they are also a sunburn remedy.

Cut some potatoes in thin, even slices and put them on the affected area. They will help with cooling down the skin. Apparently, the one responsible for this is the starch found in potatoes.

If the burn is fresh and it hurts too bad to rub potato slices on it, you can mash them in a blender until they become a thick paste. Apply the result on the affected skin.
