Coffee is most people’s go-to source of energy, but why?

Caffeine has the magical ability of passing from your bloodstream to your brain very quickly. There, it inhibits the activity of neurotransmitters that quiet the central nervous system. In return, caffeine increases the production of epinephrine, a hormone that stimulates your brain and body.

Note that it’s recommended to stick to 400 mg of caffeine per day at top. This can mean about 4 cups.
