Further research is still necessary to determine why some people have different immune responses to the vaccines than others, Stappenbeck also added. Researchers are “still in the process of sorting this all out. Right now, we don’t understand it.” Data collected so far shows that women tend to have stronger immune responses than men and young people tend to respond faster than older people.
One thing’s for sure: the vaccines that received emergency authorizations are all efficient against staving off the virus and protecting you from developing severe forms of COVID-19, with or without the side effects.
