You might not see any connection between your posture and your frequent headaches, but let me assure you, there is a really strong one. In fact, bad posture is one of the most common causes of tension headaches, according to Dr. Anne Bierman, DPT SCS, a physical therapist with Athletico Physical Therapy.
As explained by Dr. Bierman, “an increase in posture issues related to the prominence of hand-held tech devices, like tablets, laptops, and phones.” Whenever you use your phone or similar devices, you have to look down at it and consequently put more strain on your neck, neck joints and spine.
