Toffee eggnog

Eggnog and Christmas go together like Santa and presents. This overly popular holiday drink cannot miss the Christmas menu, with or without alcohol. To take its deliciousness one step further, try adding crushed toffee or broken chocolate bars to sweeten up the eggnog.

Ingredients:

For the Toffee Syrup:
2/3 cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of water
1 tablespoon of butter
1 cup of cream

For the Eggnog:
2 ounces of whole milk
1 ounce of toffee syrup
1 large egg
Garnish: 1 toffee candy
Garnish: 1 pinch nutmeg
