Not Eating Enough Fruit and Veggies? You Might Regret It

It could affect your blood pressure

A diet with too much sodium is one of the main causes of high blood pressure. Unfortunately, most people whose diets lack fruits and vegetables, consume foods that abound in sodium and end up with off the charts blood pressure.

To keep things aka your blood pressure under control, adopt a blood pressure friendly diet consisting of food rich in calcium, magnesium, and potassium, which have an opposite effect to sodium, and can help you lower your blood pressure. And of course, decrease the sodium intake!
