Not Eating Enough Fruit and Veggies? You Might Regret It

You could run low in vitamins and minerals

Fruits and vegetables provide some of the most important nutrients our bodies need in order to function properly and stay healthy. They should make a third of what we eat every day, which means three servings of vegetables and two servings of fruits.

Unfortunately, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, only 1 in 10 adults consume the recommended servings. This means most adults are deficient in vitamins and minerals and the effects become visible on your body, hair, nails.
