What about the one-shot vaccine?

  • Study 5: When it comes to the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a recent clinical trial shows how the vaccine is 85% effective against severe forms of infection and offered strong and persistent protection against hospitalization and death. To make it even better, it showed how the J&J vaccine enhanced neutralizing antibody activity, which basically forbids the virus to infect healthy cells, more effectively for the Delta variant than for the beta one.

Another study involving 20 people came to the conclusion that the J&J vaccine can neutralize the Delta variant within 29 days of the first shot, and the protection only improves over time.
