Not Losing Weight on a Low-Carb Diet? This might be why

You’re not eating real food

Speaking of real, many people starting a low-carb diet focus on reducing the carbs intake and replace real food with processed low-carb products.

It’s true that low carb means consuming fewer carbs but these have to be replaced by real, nutritious foods. Such foods will help you feel more satiated thus reducing overeating risks. One thing to keep in mind is to maintain a proper ratio between low-carb, high-fat and moderate-protein foods to facilitate the ketosis state and manage to burn body fat.

What you can do:  Opt for meats, eggs, fish, vegetables and healthy fats. You should also stay away from treats that are said to be made with healthy ingredients, like cookies or brownies. Consume them occasionally not on a daily basis.
