Not Losing Weight on a Low-Carb Diet? This might be why

Unfortunately, no matter how hard you try, sometimes you just can’t seem to lose weight. Instead of blaming yourself, try to discover the real cause. It might be something out of your control.

If you’re undergoing treatment and you’ve been using certain medications, some of them may have certain side effects that can cause weight gain. For example, hormonal disorders, particularly hypothyroidism, are known to generate weight issues.

What you can do:  See if weight gain is on the list of side effects of the medications you’ve been prescribed and discuss other options with your doctor.
