If vaccine distribution goes according to plan, Dr. Fauci enthusiastically says that our country might actually be close to getting back to normal by this year’s fall. This means that we might be able to go to the movies, eat indoors or attend different events with our dear ones safely.
But this requires us to reach an umbrella of herd immunity – some achieved through vaccination, some gained after getting infected.
Right now, more than 19 million people in our country have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, as per Our World in Data.
