5 Things Dr. Fauci Is Doing Now That He Got the COVID-19 Vaccine 1

He has guests who are vaccinated

Dr. Anthony Fauci is now 80 years old, which means that he’s part of the high-risk category of people for COVID-19 infections. Therefore, he has been very careful to avoid human interaction as much as possible during the pandemic, spending most of the time with his wife, Christina Grady (nurse bioethicist).

In a recent statement to WRC-TV, Dr. Fauci explained that ‘If we have someone in the house that would be a non-occupant of the house, it’s somebody that we know has either been vaccinated or tests themselves very, very frequently.’

Anthony Fauci and his wife have three children who now live across the country, so they’ve maintained minimal contact during the past year. In another CNN report, Dr. Fauci mentioned that he and his wife are looking forward to seeing their children as soon as they get vaccinated too.

This is an important lesson.

Wellness Captain Rule of thumb:

If you and other people have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, Dr. Fauci says you can form so-called ‘immunity-bubbles,’ or groups of people who can safely spend time together due to their high vaccine-induced immunity. However, each member of the group must continue to follow all precaution measures daily to minimize any risk of infection.
