After getting both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, Dr. Fauci said that he hasn’t changed ‘much in my public health measures that I abide by.’
This means that he’s still wearing a mask to minimize the risk of an infection.
As I was saying at the beginning of this post, the issue of vaccine-induced immunity is widely debated as new studies emerge. So far, we know that the Moderna vaccine is 94.1% effective while the Pfizer vaccine is 95% effective.
It may seem like a lot, but it’s still not 100% – and Dr. Fauci wants to eliminate any risk of infecting himself and harming those around him.
