Vaccinated people don’t need to quarantine
At least, not when they come in contact with a positive COVID case. The guideline was modified at the beginning of February by the CDC, in light of recent findings of the vaccines’ efficacy. According to the agency, people who have received the COVID vaccine are not required to isolate themselves after being in direct contact with a suspected or confirmed COVID case.
This guideline strictly refers to people who have been fully vaccinated, in that they’ve received both doses of the vaccine and at least two weeks have passed since the second shot. More details on the next page.
