You do need to meet certain criteria, even with a vaccine
If you want to be allowed to avoid quarantine after exposure to a positive COVID case, there are three rules the CDC says you must comply with.
Firstly, you have to have received your second shot at least two weeks prior to coming into contact with the COVID case. Secondly, your vaccination must have taken place within the past three months and thirdly, you have to have no symptoms after the contact. Those who do not comply with all three requirements are required to stick to current quarantine rules, informs the CDC.
