Blood Clots After COVID Vaccine? This Is Who Is More Likely To Get Them 1

People with type B blood reportedly have the highest risk of thrombosis

The association between blood type and blood clotting has been researched for many years, way before the coronavirus vaccines ever came into question.

In a recent study published in January 2020 in Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology, an American Heart Association journal, which involved more than 400,000 participants, researchers discovered that the risk of experiencing thrombosis was higher in people with blood type B.

More than that, people with blood type B were 45 percent more likely to develop blood clots and 55 percent more likely to suffer from deep venous thrombosis, as opposed to people with blood type O.
