The actor was diagnosed in the early ’00s and decided to focus on her mental health and take a break from Hollywood. Her mental health journey started after a breakdown she had one night in New York City. The actress ended up being hospitalized for a few weeks, and a psychiatrist came with a diagnosis: bipolar disorder.
