Both types of allergic reactions mean you shouldn’t get another shot
Even if they apparently are not dangerous, it doesn’t mean non-severe allergic reactions should be taken lightly, warns the CDC. The vaccines currently used in the United States both require two doses, but an allergic reaction to the first shot may be a sign that you might have a more severe reaction after the second shot.
According to the CDC, if you have any allergic symptoms after the first dose, “you should not get the second dose.” And these 4 Groups of People Shouldn’t Get the COVID-19 Vaccine at all. Not until more tests are performed and enough evidence is collected that the vaccines are safe for them as well.
