Vaccines vs. new Delta variant
Yes, the situation is alarming due to this new COVID variant, but scientists still agree on one thing: All three vaccines are very effective to different degrees against the first variant of the coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. With the appearance of the new variant, doctors are now trying to understand if the vaccines are just as effective.
Because the research is still limited so far, having a conclusion on the effectiveness of each vaccine is not possible at the moment. But there are many promising studies to ease our worries and to strengthen expert’s promises that we can win the battle with the new COVID variant.
