In these past few months since the emergency authorization of the COVID-19 vaccines developed by Pfizer, Moderna and more recently, Johnson & Johnson, we’ve all heard about the number of possible reactions one could have after getting the first or second dose. It means your immunity system is teaching your body to recognize and fight against the virus.
But some people experience no side effects at all. Does this mean the vaccine is less effective at protecting them from severe COVID-19? According to the CDC, this is also perfectly normal and people with no post-vaccine side effects have no reason to worry.
