We’ve been told so many times that we should not worry if we experience vaccine side effects. But people who have no reactions after getting vaccinated might worry that a lack of side effects means weaker protection against the virus.
However, doctors reassure the American public that the lack of side effects is not a sign that the vaccines are less efficient in certain people. “If you get this vaccine and you don’t experience any side effects, it doesn’t mean that it’s not initiating a strong immune response,” explained Wendell Hoffman, MD, an infectious disease specialist at Sanford Health.
