JDRF, the leading organization advocating for type 1 diabetes patients, declared on January 8th, 2021 that they’re currently in touch with major diabetes and drug supply manufacturers. So far, officials haven’t been notified about any disruption in the distribution or manufacturing process.
The only point made by some manufacturers is that diabetes patients may receive their medicine orders with a slight delay due to the increased number of orders. This is why it’s always important to order your medication ahead of time and even keep extra supplies at home.
