  1. You’re spreading it wrong

Are you into chunky peanut butter? Then you probably know the struggle of spreading it perfectly on a slice of bread. Instead of choosing its smooth alternative, you might want to try some of the following tricks:

  • Place several small spoonfuls around the entire surface of the slice; this makes spreading easier.
  • Warm up the peanut butter before using it just enough to soften its texture.
  • Try different types of bread as the texture of your current bread may just be too soft to handle peanut butter; if you really want to stick to the current brand, you can toast it for a few seconds to harden its surface.

 

  1. Storing it right side up

Wait, what? Let me explain. If you’ve ever bought a natural, bio peanut butter, you’ve probably noticed that it separates, making stirring nearly impossible. If you store it right side up, though, all the oils will rise to the top while the pieces of peanut will go down to the bottom.
