Don’t forget about water

Before meeting the doctor for a check-up, it’s usually a good idea to drink lots of water. Hydrating yourself will help you obtain the most accurate results in terms of blood pressure and pulse readings.

On the other hand, if you’re dehydrated, even mildly, when you are having the blood work or urine test, the doctor will not be able to see any abnormal findings and assess your health condition properly.

Being well hydrated is a requisite for day-to-day life, not only before a doctor’s appointment, so make sure you drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day. More on water’s benefits in this post Is Water Good For Weight Loss? You Might Be Surprised.
