10 Things You Really Should Know About The New COVID-19 Vaccine 1

Should I still wear a mask if I’ve been vaccinated?

Once the majority of the population will be vaccinated against COVID-19, some of the restrictions currently in place will most likely be lifted. Until then, though, we must continue to take all precaution measures to make sure that we keep our loved ones safe.

Why? Well, firstly, none of the vaccines currently available offers 100% protection so there’s always a slight chance of infection. There’s no point in taking this risk, even though it might be a small one.

Secondly, the vaccine doesn’t increase your immunity against COVID-19 instantly. Specialists actually recommend to continue being as cautious as possible 14 days after the second dose of the vaccine because you’re still not immune to the virus.

In short, as much as we’d like our lives to get back to normal, we must continue to follow official advice and protect ourselves the same way as before vaccination.
