It could increase the risk of diabetes

Weight gain is closely related to several health problems, among which diabetes. Eating fatty, processed, sugar-laden foods instead of fruits and vegetables is a sure way to cause spikes in your blood glucose and increase your risk of diabetes.

More and more studies show that the consumption of fruits and vegetables can help regulate the glucose level and reduce the incidence of type 2 diabetes.
