Chronic Bronchitis

Chronic bronchitis is part of the COPD group and it is usually characterized by a chronic cough. It is a long-lasting condition, frequently affecting smokers.

Symptoms: Cough, production of mucus (sputum), chest discomfort, fatigue.

These symptoms can also be observed in the cases of acute bronchitis but unlike the ones for chronic bronchitis, which lasts at least three months, these usually improve in about a week.
