Giving the fact that Detroit was assaulted by recent storms and floods, the mosquito population has increased this summer. So, if you felt like there might have been more than usual, you’re right. In some areas of metro Detroit, it seems to be swarming with them, and one mother in Ann Arbor had real troubles with them.
Emily Heintz found her 2-year-old son with his face completely swollen. She took him immediately to the emergency room, not knowing why is he like that. When they got to the ER, doctors told them he was having an allergic reaction to mosquito bites.
Next, this city won’t feel so magic…..
